public interface MessageDiffListener

Receives callbacks from MessageDiff when two values differ.

Implementations can return true to ignore a difference for a specific tag.

Method Detail

ignoreDiffTagValue

boolean ignoreDiffTagValue(int tag,
                           String value,
                           String value2)

Indicates whether the difference for the specified tag should be ignored.

Parameters:

tag - tag number being compared

value - first value

value2 - second value

Returns:

true to ignore the difference, false to report it

ignoreDiffGroupTagValue

boolean ignoreDiffGroupTagValue(int numInGroupTag,
                                int instanceIdx,
                                int tag,
                                String value,
                                String value2)

Indicates whether the difference for the specified repeating-group field should be ignored.

Parameters:

numInGroupTag - leading tag of the repeating group

instanceIdx - zero-based index of the repeating-group instance

tag - tag number being compared

value - first value

value2 - second value

Returns:

true to ignore the difference, false to report it
