Supported Development Environments

• Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 or 2022.
• GNU GCC 4.8.x or higher.
• C++11 or a later language standard.

Note

The public headers require C++11. Compilers whose default is an earlier standard, GCC 4.8.x among them, need -std=c++11 or later; Visual Studio 2019 and 2022 default to a later standard already.

Deployment Environments

• Microsoft Windows (7 or higher).
• Linux (kernel 2.6.32-71 or higher).

Standard Platforms

By default, we provide distribution packages for the following platforms:

• CentOS 7 with GCC 4.8.x.
• RHEL 8 with GCC 8.5.x.
• RHEL 9 with GCC 11.5.x.
• RHEL 10 with GCC 14.2.x.
• Ubuntu 20.04 with GCC 9.4.x.
• Ubuntu 22.04 with GCC 12.1.x.
• Ubuntu 24.04 with GCC 14.2.x.
• Windows with Visual Studio 2019 or 2022.

Note

x86 builds are not available. Only x64 builds are supported for all the platforms.
